| 9/2/2010 by John Dubois - Changing classes? |
|
Just some quick notes on using the Web site to change classes: |
| 8/24/2010 by John Dubois - New Classes added for the Fall series. |
|
After reviewing the recommendations of the Competition Class Committee, we have decided to split up the Youth class into two skill levels; Youth A and Youth B, Youth A will be for Faster Juniors, Intermediates, and Experts. Youth B will be for Beginners who want to try out jumping, and Juniors. There will also be a Super Mini class for the Small Wheels riders who are uncomfortable with the big bikes. These new class divisions will address the safety concerns that been expressed about the current Youth class. The other concern that many members had was that adding classes was going to make the race day too long. To address that concern these three classes will race a single moto each at the end of the day. Members who ride only one class will actually get to go home earlier since the Youth race(s) will now be at the end of the day. We hope this address the major concerns we have heard. The new classes are in the system now so you can register for them and reserve your number for the next series. The Open Youth class will be dropped. |

Kevin Bowman of http://snapshotphotography.ca will be at Gopher Dunes on Sunday taking pictures. Check out his trailer (white van with Snap Shot Photography on the side with a pewter trailer, he will be wearing a bright yellow shirt), he has 4 monitors showing the pictures he has taken. Let him know in the morning that you may be interested so he can capture some good shots of you or your favorite rider. He is able to make poster size prints on site so if you see something you like you can take it home with you. |
